This book gave me some clarity and insight into an industry I know nothing about and have been interested in for some time. As a South African student who is looking to break into Hollywood in some capacity, I found that Vicki's perspective as an immigrant herself offers some parallels with the struggles of being an outsider, even though this was not touched upon extensively. Overall This book is very helpful as a starting point in the VFX industry.
