Summary

Can you imagine living a better life? Would you like to surround yourself with more supportive people? There’s hope! You see, the quality of your life depends on the people in your life.

The simple and powerful ideas in this book can change your life forever.

Who’s in Your Room? introduces you to the concept of your life being like a room - a room where anyone who enters affects your life...forever. Although this concept may sound frightening, this book gives you the tools and exercises you need to take control of your room and live the life you desire.

This book brings in experts to describe how people leave you with memories that cannot be erased but can be managed. You manage them by determining what’s really important to you, and then you can determine how to spend your time and who you should be spending it with. Stop living according to everyone else’s rules. Shape your life by taking control of your room. Live your life by your design!

Loves the encouragement

I like the idea of boxing up toxicated people. Remain the relationship, but set up boundaries. Continue to connect with people not with sense of guilt, with limited time to avoid being drain, and set time for those who make u grow.

Simplistic But Powerful

Powerful book that outlines how people, media, and even TV can help you expand and grow or shrink and retreat. The more you prune what and who you allow to influence your thoughts, your time and your energy the more you will have for you. If you don't take care of yourself, who will?

Inspiring and empowering very valuable information

This book will help you live deliberately and be the architect of your life. It will help you cultivate and be aware of what matters most to you so that the pressures in the pulse of relationships and responsibilities don’t overwhelm your vision and your focus on who you were meant to be in this world. Additional work pages are provided on the website to help you do the mental exercises of determining what’s important to you what you value and what you need to make space for in your life. Well worth the effort. Thanks to the authors.

Be careful of who you let in your room!

I have read many of Dr. Ivan Misner book. Who's in your room is by far the most applicable at a personal level. There are numerous reflexion exercise thru out this process of changing the energy of the people that surround your life. This is one of the types of books I hope I would have read when I was younger and give to my children to read.

If you are a business owner, you should also check some of his other books and the networking organization he founded bni.com that is present in 73 countries.

poor quality

This book sounds like it was recorded with a microphone from Walmart and recorded in a bedroom. The poor production quality made it impossible for me to listen to. it was a waste of money.
