About this listen

Theme-park blogger Jason Green is dead and his spirit is stuck inside Whirly World, his favorite place to be. What should be a dream come true turns into an abstract nightmare as Jason confronts malevolent forces trapping him there. Desperate to escape, he has to befriend the other 10 ghosts inhabiting this afterlife, from a disgruntled hostess crushed under a revolving stage, to a bereft security guard that still thinks it's 1983, and combine their strange powers to dig up the park's mysterious past.

Questioning if you can have too much of a good thing, the self proclaimed theme park obsessed will explain why the park life is as appealing as it is, and the brisk 2 hour drive is an opportunity not to be squandered. Of course when things get flipped on its head, suddenly all the rules change, but where better place to be stuck than Whirly World?

Brandon Jones is the greatest voice in videogames media, and for him to turn to fiction and to the world of theme park attraction is an unexpected, but wholly engrossing endeavor. Brandon's voice brings fervent life to the characters and his descriptions and way with words is mesmerizing. I'm very thankful that Brandon has put his pipes to excellent use, and I hope he continues to wow in the future with more gripping listens.
