This book caught me just in time.

I could have missed the whole point of being a mother and accidentally ignored the symbols of my daughters language and live. She's just six and before this book I was treating her like a young woman before she's even left childhood. Forever busy with activities and fleeting, one sided chats, I forgot to listen to my daughter. I forgot she too is a person with her own dreams. This book has taught me so many beautiful approaches to mothering and made me excited to be a mother again rather than feeling it's all so exhausting. Thank you Cheri

Really enjoyed it! Made me cry often! Ha! Love the biblical aspect! Great book! I look at my daughters with new eyes and daily intention.

Narrator sounds like Siri

Skip this book completely and listen to Dobson’s Bringing Up Girls instead. This book lacked substance and covered mostly common sense topics. My biggest disappointment was the narration sounds like Siri, Waze or Apple Maps, rather than a “human” narration — very unpleasant listening experience.

Excellent book. Mechanical oration.

I absolutely loved this book. The lessons taught I will use time and time again over the years. I will read this book over and over again. However the narrator sounded so mechanical it was nearly distracting. she sounded less than human with her precise annunciation. That said, don't let the narrator keep you from listening to this book and the valuable lessons it holds. I highly recommend this book.

Like a terrible robot voice

I am half way through the first chapter and can't get that into it because of this weird robot tone the reader has, too slow in certain spots, seems computer generated.

pray and prayer on and on

The beginning was very good but starting chapter 9 I couldn't listen anymore. So tired of her talking about praying in an excessive amount. I don't have anything against praying or religion because I am a religious person myself and I do pray. But what I thought I'd a very interesting and cute book turned in a very religious book.

Get past the reader

If you can get past the Siri like tone of the reader, then the book is amazing.
