This is well read and the science seemed good,

However: towards the end of the book they go on about breastfeeding and not being obese etc as helping NOT to have an autistic child. I’m slim, was vegetarian, healthy, fit and I breastfed all 3 of mine until 6 months and they’re all autistic!! Guess what: so am I!’

Trying to assign easy options to blame parents isn’t helpful!!

However, the rest of the book was interesting, helpful and worth reading/listening to.

Excellent with caveats

Constantly referred to autistic people as 'he', and talked about 'treatment' plans, neurodiversity is not a disease it's a natural variation. Awful.

Lack of understanding.
