Franziskas Kinder gehören dagegen zu denjenigen, die im Tourismus die größten Chancen sehen, und treiben den Umbau des Hofes vom landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb zu einem Hotel weiter voran. Dabei kommt es nicht nur hinsichtlich der separatistischen Bestrebungen, sondern auch mit dem zurückgekehrten Onkel Leopold zu Konflikten, der sich als Patriarch des Hofes aufspielt.
