Thoroughly enjoyed this story and once again a very good narrator Anne Dover puts you in the lives of the people in the time of years gone by. Thank you , I recommend this audio book to all listeners.

A most enjoyable book that was read with feeling. As a military wife for for over 26 yrs it was interesting to hear the types of accommodation that they had to live in. It was extremely running with regards the parrot.
