This is an Important Book if you want to understand Girard's thinking on religion, culture and violence.
It's more accessible when it's available on Audible as well as in other formats.
The narrator is good too.
It's not an easy book and I may have to listen to all or parts again but I highly recommend the effort.
It's far better to read what Girard said first hand rather than to get someone else's misunderstanding of what he said - especially as many (including academics and fundamentalists) are motivated to "misunderstand" or misrepresent him on purpose.
