I am a Vegan Now

This is an excellent book for those interested in changing their diet to vegetarianism. Personally, I need and want my meat. The information was very informative and shed a lot of light on how different foods affect the body. With incorporating anything new, there must be a transitional process. I was glad to see that they incorporated suggestions on how to transition to veganism from regular eating.

Clearly Described

The vegan recipes will win you over. A cool cranberry smoothie with coconut milk and shaved coconut topping, peanut butter pancakes and main courses like a carrot leek risotto have the richness of dairy without any of the cruelty.

Good Explanation

This book explains very clearly in layman terms what it means to be a vegan, its roots, and health, political, and ethical reasons for being vegan. The author supports all claims with concrete data from valid sources. Another excellent aspect of this cookbook is that it provides more than just recipes.

Essential Knowledge

I especially like the variety of recipes and meal plans included in the book. Switching to veganism is hard when you aren’t sure how to put meals together and this cookbook does it for you. They also give recipes for sauces and smoothies which many vegan cookbooks don’t do. I recommend it for anyone wanting to switch to a vegan lifestyle.

It is good

There were a lot of good tips on how to integrate into the vegan lifestyle, and I had a laugh when it suggested getting rid of cheese last, because it can be the hardest thing for some people to give up (so true). There is also a little information on why most people go vegan, and a long list of health benefits that got me pretty pumped up to go through with it. But what really makes me happy about this cookbook is its many recipes for sauces, stews, and main dishes.

I Like It

This is a great book for the vegan-curious or beginner vegan. It spends a lot of time explaining why vegans choose a vegan lifestyle and then makes health recommendations for those interested in pursuing it. As a non-vegan, I think they explained it fairly well even if it didn’t anticipate all of my questions. I was more-so interested in the recommendations for dairy substitutes.

This cookbook is as essential resource for anyone interested in becoming a vegan. It provides beginning vegans with detailed, appetizing recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also includes formulas for making treats like smoothies and different types of desserts. Secondly, it offers a very concise interesting, history of veganism, makes known the creeds of the vegan lifestyle, and the differences between vegans and vegetarians.

Awesome Recipes

The Vegan Cookbook gives you a brief history of veganism. It also helps you make the transition to a new diet as well as outlining different kitchen appliances that can be used to achieve your goals.

I'm Happy With This

This vegan cookbook clearly defines the process. I am a person who juices regularly, but, now I am considering changes in other parts of my daily diet. I tried two of the recipes: The Pumpkin Spice muffins and the Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, both were delicious.

Really great book!

Really great book! I’ve been slowly transitioning to a vegan diet and this book has been great! I’m not a cook and don’t care for cooking, so this book is really well written and easy to follow.

The audiobook is very easy to use.

The audiobook is very easy to use and is helpful to anyone who is counting carbs. The recipes are tasteful to people with type 2 and to those not counting carbs. My wife and I use the recipes in this audiobook often.

There are so many recipes in this audiobook.

I love this cook audiobook. I tried other cook audiobook but they just did not do it for us plus they still used a lot of processed food in the recipes. This cook audiobook has changed everything for us. I've been using it for 2 months now and I love it and I am always excited to try new recipes from this coo audiobook . This is my fevourite cook audiobook.

Good audiobook , however, chef seems to focus too much on finding "meat substitutes" vs. presenting vegan recipes featuring vegetables, fruits, grains in their own right. The "meat substitutes" he recommends seem to be one particular brand not available at my local grocery store. The recipes he includes are good though.

The recipes in this audiobook are great

Every single recipe we have made out of this audiobook have been amazing! We are foodies so this was important to us. I have lost 20lbs in less than 2mths using mostly recipes out of this audiobook I didn’t start Keto initially for weight loss. Mostly because I was diagnosed with diabetes and I wanted to get my sugar levels down which this has been great for that too! I highly recommend this audiobook!
