Solid book with a lot of science backed plant based nutrition info.If you are looking for a cookbook, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a well-researched reference book on vegan nutrition, this is exactly what you want.

Very helpful and informative!

However, I still found it fabulous and is an excellent book for anyone. I recommended it to my non-vegan girlfriends, one being a registered dietitian whom I thought would be very interested in it.

Easy to follow

A highly accessible and informative book, with a good measure of intelligence and sense sorely lacking in many others in the field. Great for vegans, aspiring vegans, and nonvegans alike, as well as for those who aren't women as there's plenty of general health info here and some great recipes in the last section of the book.

There's so much confusion on the diet, and it made me understand it more. The recipes seems really healthy and yummy at the same time. It's also a 2 in one bundle which to me k think is a great find! Nice book

Love plant based recipes.

Excellent recipes! I have been eating a plant based diet for over a year now, although my wife does occasionally eat meat. We have both enjoyed each recipe I have made from this book. Most of the recipes require a fair amount of prep time in the kitchen, however the ingredients used are basic and easy to find in my local grocery store.

Excellent health book, plant based.

The instructions are very easy to follow, even for the novice cook. All the ingredients are easy to follow to make each meal. You have your preparation times, serving suggestions, along with options and techniques to adjust the meal to your liking. You have calories listed along with fat content, carbohydrates, fiber, and protein for each meal along with recipe. There are some pictures in the book and they look excellent.

The plants areyour health.

There is great information on the benefits of plants for foods, for healing, and for maintaining a healthy body. The spices section allows you to kick up each meal to a new level. Her sneaky tricks to maintain your diet is ingenious and I will be doing several of these for weight control. The plants in your health chapter is a must read, and includes plants that work as medicine.

Informative and easy.

This is an interesting cookbook. When I saw the title Plant Based Diet, I was less than enthusiastic about reading this book. Much to my astonishment, the more I read, the more interested I became. When I saw the title, I didn’t really think about nuts, berries, grains, and seeds along with spices being part of the plan.
