About this listen

An ancient pact to keep the vampires' existence from humans. A hot male vampire celebrity exposed. A lost vampire race that threatens to wipe out both vampires and humans. A female fan whose dreams hold the answer to the evil's origin... and the fate of all.

Virginie sees her idol, Axel Night, shot dead at his concert and terrifying shadows feed on the audience. Only Axel could not die; he's a vampire.

To save her from the shadows, he exposes himself. Now, he is hunted by the police and the Slayers, vampire killers who hunt vampires who break the secrecy of their existence. As his fans' lust turns to fear, the spiritual rooms that sustain Axel's life force begin to crumple. Except for Virginie's. Only she can sustain him now, and in her recurring dreams lie the answer to the evil's undoing. But helping Axel would mean risking her life and changing her destiny forever.

Vampire Worshippers is the first book in the Gods of our Souls series, comprising of three books. This audiobook is the first title in the series and ends with a cliff hanger.

Gods of our Souls is a vampire thriller and romance mystery series set in a magical urban world where vampires live among us as celebrities, feeding on human lust instead of blood. This series is packed with epic action, mayhem and magic that even fans of the Harry Potter series will enjoy!

This is the best book I have to listen to in a long time. The characters are brilliant and the story catches you, reels you in and it is impossible to put it down. I am impatient for the next phase. Hands down the favorite book of the year.

Addicting!

The author explains a lot, detailing on scenery and emotions, moods, etc, at times I find myself skimming because I want to get to the juicy parts but only because it’s all so well explained and intense! I stay up late listening until I can hardly keep my eyes open. I hate waiting for sequels and normally don’t start listening to a series until they’re all out.

This book was so good!

This book is now one of my all-time favorites and seriously deserves more hype. The book starts off good but really becomes exceptional once Serena gets to the camp. This book is filled with friendship, adventure, political intrigue, and a budding romance.

This book does not consist of just romance. Romance actually takes a back burner in the story and I really appreciate that. The characters are slow to build as the story keeps unfurling. I was intrigued thru out the story and came to love all of the characters, even the more difficult. I was enthralled with the fighting aspect whereas normally that bores me.

I love that this is a story of complex characters

The way the characters are built throughout their story is one of the reasons that I love it. It’s about a girl who thought she knew who she was, and what she was made of, who suddenly gets taken out of her element and found out that she was so much more!

Everything about this book is amazing.
