Jaime has a talent for explaining the complexity of the end to end UX process with simplicity, as well as how it intersects with business strategy. This is a valuable listen for anyone who's interested in tapping into the expertise of a true veteran of a constantly evolving industry.

I have been working in and around this space for 15 years and consider myself an experienced proponent. This was a shot in the arm that reinvigorates and reminds me that the logic for challenging assumptions to build a case for doing the right thing - is the right thing. Jamie's undoubted expertise, insight and lived experience saved me a significant amount of time in bringing together the argument into a satisfying and logical whole.

I find myself frequently arguing the case for this approach in conversations with the Enterprise. It's good to know this resource exists. I will revisit and pull out some of the stand out (convincing) examples as arrows in my quiver to fire over on the right occasion.

Invaluable summary of a movement's evolution

I have wanted more audio books on UX, and having read Jamie Levy’s first edition of UX Strategy I was SO excited to give this a listen. This second edition introduces a lot of relevant updates.

I very much enjoyed Jamie’s reading of the book. It was like attending a master class on UX strategy.

The struggle I had is partially on me, but my usual approach to audio books is to listen to them passively while I’m driving. This approach doesn’t work with this book. The information is deep and you really need to focus to soak it all in.

However, even after changing my approach and listening more attentively, I still found that the descriptions of documents and interfaces was still difficult to visualize. I appreciate that these materials were available online, but I go to audio books when I can’t look at pages (electronic or otherwise).

It may take a bit to figure out the best way to consume the info in this format, but want to end on a positive note. The performance was great, the material is excellent. I’m so glad the second edition is out and that there are new ways to consume high-quality UX content.

Great material, a little hard to follow
