About this listen

“For twelve years, others have tried to tell our story. Tried to put into words how two ten-year-old twins came to be called the biggest pop phenomenon in the Nordics. Now it’s our turn.”

Sold-out concerts, prestigious awards and screaming fans were everyday life for Marcus and Martinus for many years, but just as they were set to embark on their first world tour, everything they had built collapsed. As the pandemic spread, the twin brothers found themselves isolated in their hometown, forced to face their first major crisis. And while the situation offered them the chance to live a normal life, one question gnawed at them: Would their audience welcome them back—as adult artists?

In Two Hearts, One Beat, Marcus and Martinus, share for the first time the darker side of growing up in the spotlight, the crash that threatened to destroy everything they had worked for—and how hard it can be to find your own voice when you’ve always been one of two.

A great listen to the real journey, successes, challenges, similarities, differences, true emotions of this talented duo, but more importantly individuals. As a parent of (boy/girl) twins in the UK, it was fascinating to learn about things from each of their perspectives and recognise so many aspects. An incredible story, having had my daughter singing their songs in English & Norwegian, learning all about the lads since Eurovision hit our screens in 2024. We had an amazing time together seeing them in concert at the 02, London this year and she’s booked for Jan 2026. The book being available to buy in printed format in the UK would be the icing on the cake to treasure and re-read in years to come. Such a soothing listen with the narrator voices that we both enjoyed in one hit. Hygge happy!
