...it's an epic listen and kinda fun.
The author explores a number of factors around abuse and consent, briefly touched on Stockholm Syndrome and plays around with role dynamics.

Having said this, don't expect anything other than a mildly erotic, fairly safe fantasy into control and dominance. This is NOT an academic exploration into what many may feel is a BDSM relationship.

Not completely sure it warrants the awards, but...

Dark twisted and totally thrilling. I loved every second of this audio book. I haven't read the actual books but listening is just as good. It's taken less than two days to finish as i couldn't stop listening. It's dark and sexy and well worth anyone's time. I would totally recommend this audio book
