Story
Emma Walsh has finally worked up the courage to confront her husband James about his drinking — his alcoholic rages, his blackouts, and the fear his behavior has created for her and their two kids. But James never shows up to meet her as planned, and all her righteous words go unsaid. And unsaid they remain, because the next time Emma sees James, his body lies crumpled amidst the wreckage of his flashy car, which has been smashed to its final resting place halfway through the back wall of their suburban house’s roomy garage.

Story
Finlay Donovan, single mum and floundering crime writer, is having a hard time. Her ex-husband went behind her back to fire the nanny, and this morning she sent her four-year-old to school with hair duct-taped to her head after an unfortunate incident with scissors. Making it to lunch with her literary agent is a minor victory but, as she's discussing the plot of her latest crime novel, the conversation is misinterpreted by a woman sitting nearby as that of a hit-woman offering her services to dispose of a 'problem' husband.

Any day spent indoors eating frozen pizzas, painting RPG figures in the basement, and feeding his scruffy cat is a good day. The problem is the outside world. When Mark touches certain things, he draws. Sometimes, it’s a little boy lost in the woods and sometimes, a throw pillow held tight against a grandmother’s face as she scratches at gloved hands.

Meet Roger. Skilled with words, languages come easily to him. He instinctively understands how the world works through the power of story. Meet Dodger, his twin. Numbers are her world, her obsession, her everything. All she understands, she does so through the power of math. Roger and Dodger aren’t exactly human, though they don’t realize it. They aren’t exactly gods, either. Not entirely. Not yet. Meet Reed, skilled in the alchemical arts like his progenitor before him. Reed created Dodger and her brother. He’s not their father. Not quite. But he has a plan.

Summary
You are cordially invited to play a game....
Tuesday Mooney loves a puzzle. So when an eccentric billionaire drops dead, leaving behind a fiendish treasure hunt - open to anyone - to his fortune, Tuesday can’t resist.
Although she works best alone, she soon finds herself partnering up with best friend Dex (money manager by day, karaoke zealot by night) and the mysterious Nathaniel Arches, eldest son of a wealthy family who held a long-running feud with the dead man.
As the clues are solved, excitement across the city reaches fever pitch - but nothing is as it seems, and the puzzle-within-a-puzzle holds something much darker than a vast fortune at its heart....

How odd
This seems to be the same audio as Tuesday M talks to ghosts. I wondered if it was a reprise, but skipping thro the chapters up to chapter 9, exact same audio. I'll query it with audible. Maybe a technical snafu?
