Despite other reviews I took a chance and purchased this book as the 4th one by the author! I loved it! So easy to listen too, at first I thought the bland tone would drive me crazy but it did not, the accents were excellent and the different voices were also good and added to the interest of the overall story. A great audio!

Gripped from beginning to end

Really loved it!! I listen and read lots of books and this book had me gripped from the get go! The story line was excellent. I would definitely recommend this book and am currently downloading another Sophie McKenzie book.

Although I tend not to put too much thought into guessing who did it - I’d rather not think too much about it and go with the flow! Maybe because I’m no longer in my 20’s and 30’s and desperate to know everything?!
Throughly enjoyed this. Clare Corbett remains my favourite narrator
Go for it - nothing to loose an easy way to be entertained without having to use too much brain power.

Kept me guessing all the way through

The plot was ridiculous. Fiction taken to unbelievable extreme. Cringe worthy and silly . The main character was rather annoying.

Not for me

I know that you have to suspend your disbelief for this kind of book. Believe me, I am more than capable of doing that but the holes in this story annoyed me so much that the 'suspense' was spoiled. The narrator did a good enough job with the material but I really can't understand the excellent reviews. Oh well, you live and learn.

Implausible, over-long story full of holes.
