About this listen
The stately calm of a Washington morning is shattered when a group of terrorists descends, killing dozens and taking nearly one hundred hostages as they try to infiltrate the White House. The Secret Service immediately evacuates the president to an underground bunker—and while officials argue over how best to negotiate with the enemy, Mitch Rapp, the CIA’s top counterterrorism operative, moves stealthily among the hidden corridors and secret passageways of the nation’s capital to save the hostages before the terrorists reach the president. But there’s someone waiting in the wings, someone within the Washington elite, who is determined to see Rapp’s rescue mission fail.
With heart-pounding thrills and feverish pacing, Transfer of Power “mixes in a spicy broth of brutal terrorists, heroic commandos, and enough secret-agent hijinks to keep the confrontation bubbling until its flag-raising end” (Publishers Weekly).
Hooked on Mitch Rapp!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
A great reading of the book, nothing left out, and well read. What other book might you compare Transfer of Power to, and why?
If you like tom Clancy, this is just like his books, but without all the waffle and stuffing, that make them 30+ hours longWhat does Nick Sullivan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Great character dialogue. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No, but if there was writing about it here might spoil the book!!!Any additional comments?
Look forward to the rest of the series. The fast action continues

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
probably, as it is an entertaining romp.Who was your favorite character and why?
Mitch Rapp, as he is a free spirited, authority hating hero who acts first and gets permission later, if he can be bothered.Have you listened to any of Nick Sullivan’s other performances? How does this one compare?
i haven't listened to any of Nick Sullivan's other performances, so can't compare this to anything else, but I found it enjoyable.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
it spdidnt make me laugh or cry, but occasionally it made me want to skip a few pages as there was too much detail between starting and finishing a piece of action.Any additional comments?
an intriguing story that could have had a bit more depth of characters and a bit less detail at times. I would have liked to see more of the Attorney General, she was a character you love to hate and would have made a worthy opponent. She was written out too hastily and superficially for my liking.Kept me listening
