Summary

It's been 12 years since ER nurse Frankie Stapleton fled the quiet banks of Stillwater, but with her sister's pregnancy taking a dangerous turn and a string of failed relationships in Chicago hanging over her, Frankie is back and hoping to put the past behind her. Nice, light listen

Time of Death is an interesting, well written book that translates very well to audio. Amy McFadden turns in a top notch performance. The story moves along at a steady pace, and, whilst there are no huge surprises or particular OMG moments, it's a good, solid mystery with well drawn, likeable characters. An excellent holiday listen and I'll definitely keep my eye out for more by Lucy Kerr.
