About this listen
One day, I’m just trying to make ends meet as a security guard at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC.
Then I happened upon a mysterious pocket watch and ended up in the year 1814.
Time traveling takes a little getting used to, but it definitely helped that I found a pretty blonde woman to help me navigate 19th century DC.
And when I discovered I could take things from the past and bring them to the future, a very lucrative idea took root in my brain…
©2022 Eric Vall (P)2025 Eric Vall1) it just doesn't go anywhere. I understand the need to setup the situation, how the timetravel works, but then nothing really happens, other than 2 whole chapters dedicated to describing sex scenes.
There are threads that are setup for something to happen, but then get resolved with a simply 1 liner like "oh it was person XYZ, we've dealt with them" and that's it.
2) The first 4 female characters in the story are all "into" our hero. They are all compliant and willing and have no depth to them. The author likes to describe what the women are wearing in detail.. but only the women.
Honestly, it had potential, but it just reads like it's written by someone who doesn't have much experince with women, hasn't really thought timetravel through, and hasn't really researched history much beyond what is taught at school.
It just doesn't go anywhere
