Unlike many other audiobooks, this book (and the others in this series), aren’t the kind of audiobook that you listen to in one go. This is a book that you listen to in short sections, and think about for a a day before listening to the next bit. You don’t HAVE to listen in this way, but if you don’t, and you wish to get the absolute most out of the fascinating facts and theories contained therein, then you may have to listen to the book multiple times to get your head around the fascinating information.

I’m no scientist. I’m very much a lay man who is fascinated by science. I love this book (and this series of books) because they cause me to think deeply in ways my non-scientific brain struggles with, but the information makes me wish I could do all this with ease. If you have a mild interest in science and want to try to get your head around stuff that would otherwise be being your reach, read or listen to these books. You must.

The mind-bogglingly complex made almost understandable
