About this listen
The sequel to the bestselling A Street Cat Named Bob continues the remarkable adventures of James and Bob showing - through new stories - how Bob's extraordinary street wisdom has shown James the meaning of friendship, loyalty, trust - and happiness.
"Since Bob had appeared, I'd made huge strides in my life. For more than a decade I'd been a homeless drug addict. I'd been lost to the world and forgotten what was important in life. Now I'd got myself back on my two feet, but as I put the past behind me, I was still stepping unsteadily into the future. I still needed help in the right direction. Bob was always there to offer guidance and friendship."
James and his street cat Bob have been on a remarkable journey together. In the years since their story ended in the bestselling A Street Cat Named Bob James, with Bob's help, has begun to find his way back to the real world.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend anyone to read this book who has even the smallest amount of social conscience. I stopped buying the Big Issue years ago as I believed the sellers were just using the money to fuel their drug or alcohol addictions. This book has put the record straight and this Christmas gave me the courage to go up to our local Big Issue seller and talk to him, buy his magazine and a hot coffee. What did you like best about this story?
I like the fact that this story is written in an unsentimental and self denegrating way. The author is clearly aware of objections to him as a busker and then a Big Issue seller and the owner of street cat. I think he does a wonderful job of batting off these objections and putting forward, without preaching in any way, an argument to say homelessness is an issue we should all take an interest in and do something about.Which character – as performed by Kristopher Milnes – was your favourite?
I absolutely fell in love with Bob, who wouldn't? It just reinforces to me more and more as I get older that animals, despite common belief, do have souls and have intelligent thought.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me laugh in part and cry for sure. It made me geel guilty for ignoring our local Big Issue seller and has made me feel I want to do something to help.Any additional comments?
Please write another follow up story so all your adoring fans know what is happening in your's and Bob's life. This will change your mind about Homeless people
