About this listen

The gripping follow-up to multi-million bestselling author Ruth Ware’s The Woman in Cabin 10 – now a Netflix film, starring Keira Knightley.

Paradise comes at a price . . .

The stunning mountain views. The beautiful shore of Lake Geneva. The terrified woman held in the suite belonging to the hotel’s millionaire owner.

Lo Blacklock’s all-expenses paid trip to a luxury Swiss chateau should have been the ideal return to work. But as her past catches up with her, the millionaire’s mistress demanding that Lo help her escape, and a body turning up in the room next door, forces Lo to ask how far would she go to help someone she’s not even sure she can trust…

‘A masterful follow up to The Woman in Cabin 10’ Crime Monthly

‘A sharp thriller’ Prima

‘It’s the definition of a page-turner — as the plot hurtles towards the end, readers will find themselves unable to put the book down.’ The Irish Examiner

‘A fast-paced treasure trove of conspicuous consumption, double and triple crosses, and imperilled heroines making very bad decisions, The Woman in Suite 11 is as fizzily decadent as a pre-brunch mimosa.’ Irish Times

Also featured in the Irish Independent’s July thriller round up
‘Ware’s writing has all her trademarks of a tricky plot, great backdrops and convincing dialogue’ Daily Mail

‘It’s clever, cleanly plotted and there’ll be more than a few moments when you’re wondering what turn it’ll next take’ Belfast Telegraph

‘(a) gripping sequel’ Press Association

‘A proper page turner’ Fabulous
'How do you write a sequel to a globally bestselling standalone phenomenon? The follow-up to The Woman in Cabin 10 is a thriller of substance and panache, with twists aplenty and not one, but two heroines to root for - if you can bring yourself to trust them’ Vaseem Khan

A wonderful pairing of author and narrator, as usual.
Having worked through all of Ruth Ware's books with relish, I had to wait for this latest one which was agonising! It was well worth it though as she was back with her characteristic unputdownable style. Imogen Church once again narrated it very well and got her tongue around all the different voices and accents extremely well. (The children's voices were a teeny bit grating but then whiny children can be, can't they?!)
I gave this one 4 stars rather than 5 just because it was a bit more predictable than her previous stories and I felt the lead character was a little bit too naive.
Nevertheless, another great listen from this pair and I eagerly await the next production from them!

Well worth the wait!

I usually enjoy Ruth Ware's books and recently started listening to her audio books narrated by Imogen Church. But the characters voices were quite irritating they should add other voice actors. When Lo was considering staying at home, I thought please don't so I don't have to listen to your whiney children.

I got about half way through and thought surely we're coming to the end and realised I had another 8 hours to go.

Nearly didn't finish

Brilliantly read by Imogen Church, fantastically written by Ruth Ware.

The story follows Lo, ten years on from her last experience in The Woman in Cabin 10. Lots of twists and turns and guessing games. I don’t want to say too much as don’t want to give any spoilers, however as a huge fan of Ruth Ware, and TWIC10 was the first book I read of hers, years ago, I wasn’t disappointed.

The sequel we didn’t know we needed.

The voiceover was so overdone I barely paid attention to the story - gave up which is a shame

Worst narrator ever

Being a great fan of Ruth Ware's work I couldn't wait to listen to this. I really enjoyed the style in which it was written. The drama is interspersed with humour as the main character tries to placate others then finds herself involved in a crime. The narrator was very good and brings the story to life amazingly well. I enjoyed this audible very much and would definitely recommend this.

Gripping from start to finish.
