The War on Guns
Summary
Gun rights advocate John Lott, author of More Guns, Less Crime, rebuts recent antigun "factoids" with real statistics.
When it comes to the gun control debate, there are two kinds of data: data that's accurate and data that left-wing billionaires, politicians, and media want you to believe is accurate. In The War on Guns, economist and gun rights advocate John Lott turns a skeptical eye to well-funded antigun studies and stories that perpetuate false statistics to frighten Americans into giving up their guns.

Real facts on guns.
Excellent book. The Canadian government needs to read this book! As a Canadian citizen I envy the personal rights and freedoms Americans have.

Great book! fantastic research by John lott!
I will be recommending this and other John Lott books to each and every Gun owner I know. We need to be armed with the facts about guns when speaking with anti-gun leftists. they are lying about guns and self defense as well as the history of the country and second amendment. GREAT BOOK!!!

Scholarly
A great book that dismantles the government and academic propaganda against guns. He expertly presents data and facts in an even-handed and scholarly approach to this controversial topic.

So much information
There’s so much valuable information that I wish there was a Cliff’s notes to help with family gun control debates

Great Content.
Lott always provides compelling research. But the production of this audio book is the worst I've seen.

Solid Statistics
His critical analysis of the statistics goes beyond raw numbers to consider factors behind them.

The war on guns is alive and well
Dr. Lott covers the assault on the second amendment and renews the call for freedom loving Americans to push back against those who would disarm free people.

A must read for any American !!
If you are not sure you know everything about gun laws, you should invest a few hours to read this book. If you are sure then you are a fool.
Read one chapter, and if you have a conscience or are even slightly morally honest then you will want to read the rest. This guy’s research is inconvenient but impeccable.

Well researched & compelling
I was concerned about government's infringement on American's Second Amendment rights. However, I was surprised and dismayed by the disinformation and downright lying the government did when pushing their unconstitutional gun restrictions on the American people. Kudos to John Lott for his effort in exposing this travesty. 5 Stars!
