A good escapist read
I do listen to a range of books and at the
Moment I am working my way through these with some delight. Partly because the narrator is excellent and the story is not so predictable. There is some good links to other books without having to read them all but it’s nice to hear the other characters

Hilarious and sweet and hot
well it seems I have to listen to at least 5 bad books to get to a good one, and this is outstanding both story and narration

Best narration
Is Tessa Dare always this funny, and I’m only noticing because Mary Jane Wells is such a good narrator? Penny and Gabriel are perfect for each other — this is worth a listen

seductive, sweet and so funny
Really enjoyed it, laughed out loud. totally unbelievable, total escapism, total appreciation! I also find Mary Jane's Wells performance adds to the book. The way she reads is both seductive and humorous.
Escapism for a working mum and chose to give up sleep to finish. thank you.

Lovely Listen!
I can't remember how I found this book and author but I wish I had sooner.
I adore historical romances and this one had extra laughs and spice whilst underneath the story was expertly woven.
The narrator did an outstanding job and I can still hear the parrot in my head.
