About this listen

This book focuses on the characters of the five foolish virgins. Though we learn a lot from the five wise virgins, more lessons were derived from the five foolish virgins’ decision-making strategies. The story is from Matt 25:1-13. Our Lord Jesus Christ uses this parable to explain the nature of his second coming. He provides us with insights that make us understand that every believer has the potential of reaching heaven, provided we get our priority right. This book was inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it is my prayer that the listeners get the message and obtain the grace to apply it to their daily living in Jesus' name.

The only thing that differentiates the poor from the rich, elites from illiterates, and those who succeeded in life from those who failed is wisdom. Wisdom is the direct application of knowledge. Hosea 4:6 tells us that a believer that lacks knowledge will be destroyed. In order words, foolishness is the bedrock of destruction. Of what use is the knowledge acquired if it would not be appropriated? The serpent took advantage of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden because the couple failed to appropriate the knowledge of God that they had Genesis 3:1-7. Wise people know what they should do at a time. Even if they are not clear, they know how to ask God for direction. James 1:5 encourages us to ask for wisdom if we lack it. The most simple and effective approach to wisdom is to identify what we do not know and be confident with what we know. When we face a challenge in life, the outcome is mostly dependent on how we handle it and not on what really happened.
