Good narration - but the story went a bit off in places and was a bit boring and long winded. Not much action. However overall a pleasant enough listen to kill time.

Loved this book. I was looking forward to it as I've been a fan of the author for a couple of years after discovering the half bad series. It was even better than I'd hoped and I can't wait for the next book.

I listened to this as an audiobook after several false-starts with the book itself (which I got in a subscription box). The audiobook is amazing, the narrators did an excellent job and really brought the characters to life with their performances. I feel that this is a book that's meant to be heard rather than read.

This is a brilliant story once you get into it. Yes, it starts slow, and stays slow for a while, but once it picks up the pace is incredible.

But oh man I'm in love with Catherine! I can't wait for the next book to see what happens to her, although I suspect I'll go for the audiobook again.

It took me months to finish #TheSmokeThieves by @Sa11eGreen but now I have. At first it was a bit hard to read as the chapters were always about a different character but now I love this book. I feel for the characters. I feel their pain, happiness and love. Waiting for book 2 ❤

So good! I cannot wait for the sequel. Usually I don’t like multiple POV stories - but with this book it worked so well. Edyon is my fav ♥️
