Thousands of lives are in the hands of someone who has never even picked up a sword, but at least he knows not to hold it by the pointy end.

I really enjoyed this audiobook! At first I was a little worried that the narrator didn't suit me , but I'm glad I stuck it out because the way he told the story was fantastic! You could really hear the emotion in his voice and it was easy to distinguish the characters from each other.

I absolutely loved this ragtag group of aspiring heroes. I loved how nothing was straightforward or predictable , I was rooting for them the whole way ! It also had a very unexpected twist which has me really looking forward to the second installment !

There were moments that I found my mind losing focus on the tale , but it usually did reel me back in very quickly as it was quite fast paced.

Overall I had a wonderful time with plenty of laughs out loud and will be continuing with the series! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and different take on the "hero on a quest" fantasy genre!
