This book was everything I hoped for in a sequel , it was funny , serious , and charming. There was a lot of valuable character development and I feel that the story progressed at the perfect rate . The ending has me wanting for more ! I look forward to more tales from this universe !

A fast-paced listen with terrific storylines and characters and numerous twists. I love that beneath all the action and adventures the story also explores vulnerability and trust. The humour and banter are absolutely top-tier: sharp, witty, and laugh out loud funny, and the ending made me immediately want to listen to the next book!
Timothy Drennan’s narration is top-notch, the smugness in Auron’s voice is priceless!
