Summary

Various grim events occur but feel somewhat calm - not bloody or appalling, but enthralling and other worldly. Dickens invests the signal-man with education beyond his station. The wrong narrator for the story

The story is a good one but is irredeemably spoiled by the choice of an American narrator. His pronunciation and speech patterns are not British English and he read the story without any feeling for it. The many unnecessary pauses between words jarred badly.

Terrible narrator

Has Mr Brown ever read aloud before. He had no clue when it came to innovation, or emphasis. It sounded like his first read through Story it's one of my favorite ghost stories from my teenage years
