No new pieces of information.
This audiobook contained nothing I hadnt heard before. although most of the information it contains is pertinent to good study habits, it didnt give me any new leads on how to grow as a student. i expected more of a walkthough on better time management and study habits to keep your brain alert, but i dont feel that I recieved such. I may listen to it again to try and reform my opinion on it, but a first listen through left me less than inspired.

Wow! Thinking outside the box to change the world has been laid out perfectly by this genius! Passion, great story telling, and his roots in knowing that his life’s mission is to change our world for the better makes Vishen an incredible author, and human. He is on FIRE, and I’m already applying his steps of success in my life. Get this book!

Brilliant ideas, well presented, dry pacing
This book is packed with ideas for learning more efficiently. It highlights various techniques for input and review of new information and explains how to do them best.
very clear explanations of why the techniques work.
based on scientific evidence
busts the myth of "learning styles and intelligences" and I'm glad it does.
gives solid examples
clear and engaging writing.
a chapter near the end on "teaching" was really confusing since the narrator switched seamlessly between the viewpoint of the student and that of the teacher with no indication of which role he was playing. His reading is clear, but really dry... just plodding along at the same pace without pausing to let important concepts sink in - even through new chapters and titles. something I couldn't tell if he was reading the title of the next chapter, or continuing a thought from the current one.
