This is my first experience of a Suzanne Bugler novel and I was rather disappointed. The story starts out well and I did find the first half a compelling listen. However I found that the central character's behaviour becomes increasingly unbelievable and by the end I had little empathy for her situation. It is a very drawn out listen and I must admit that I did skip a few chapters just to find out what happened. The reader however is excellent and I will definitely listen to other books narrated by Juanita McMahon.

A little unbelievable
