The Rowbury Raven is a captivating read that masterfully blends mystery and suspense. The world-building is immersive, and the characters are complex and compelling, drawing you deep into their journeys. The twists and turns kept me guessing until the very end.
I also listened to the audiobook, and the narration was excellent—both narrators brought the characters to life with distinct voices and perfect pacing. Their performances added an extra layer of emotion and tension that made the story even more engaging.
A few sections felt a bit slow, but overall, it’s a gripping listen that I’d highly recommend to fans of mystery and fantasy!
A captivating fantasy & mystery story!

I really wanted to love this one more than I did. The concept and atmosphere had promise, but the story itself never fully clicked for me. The pacing felt uneven, and I struggled to stay emotionally invested, even though there were moments that should have hit harder.
That said — and this is important — the narration was phenomenal.
Jacci Prior absolutely carried the emotional weight, and Gabe Walsh-Shore added so much depth and presence. Their performances were engaging, nuanced, and honestly the main reason I stuck with the audiobook.
So if this review sounds lukewarm, please know: that reflects the story, not the narration. The audiobook itself was a genuinely great listening experience, even if the book wasn’t a full hit for me.
If you’re a narration-first listener, this one might still be worth your time. 🎧✨
