All three of the Rosie novels made me laugh out loud. Ultimately the story is about getting inside the mind and heart of someone a lot of people see as odd, and discovering that he isn't really that different from anybody else (Bill Gates, 2020 Summer Books)

Would you consider the audio edition of The Rosie Effect to be better than the print version?

i love this book, as i loved the Rosie project. Its so rare to find a genuinely funny book but this really gets there. And the narrator, he is simply fantastic at being Don Tillman. another one please!

I. Love. Don. Tillman. I think that we all, at some point, have felt like we don't fit in and don't understand some social situation. We are all incredulous sometimes at the actions of others and we, like Rosie, see Don's inherent weirdness as endearing. So, after a book worth of an encouraging Rosie, she maybe feels a touch out of character here. And I don't know that I ever feel that the reasoning behind her central change is ever explored or explained properly. Even so, the book is highly enjoyable, the performance is stellar, and the book falls confidently into a category Don might call 'a useful contribution to the field'.

Simply brilliant. It is funny warming and beautifully written. The characters are just so easy to love and care for.
It takes a genius to write a comic and touching novel revolving around mental illness.
Both books were pure pleasure. I want more.

I love Don, it's impossible not to love Don. He is brilliant in all sorts of ways but beautifully naive in others. The narrator understands the exact tone required to convey this and his comic timing is impeccable. Both this and the original "Rosie Project" are among my favourite books, comparable to the later Adrian Mole diaries. They also give some degree of insight into the Asperger's syndrome, and prompted me to do a little outside research to expand my understanding. Have recommended to all my booky friends and I recommend it to you as a heart-warming fun 'read' you won't regret listening to!

A worthy successor to the Rosie Project. Does not disappoint as sequels so often do. Also stays true to the characters. Very enjoyable.
