Another fabulous read

This was the last one of the Shadow Chronicles that I had left to read and, just prior to this, I read City of Time and Magic. I was thrilled that they tied in as I love all of these characters. Totally love Paula’s writing. I think I’ll start the Grimm mystery books next. Keep it up! 😉

Ummmm

Confused by all the hype for this. It was nowhere near as good as the witch’s daughter. Bit cheesy and not a lot happened. The narrators voice is so soothing I was almost falling asleep!

Didn’t want it to end

I loved every bit of this book I really didn’t want the story to end. It’s one of those books that even though it’s finished you keep thinking about it and all the characters.Loved the narration as well was totally absorbed

I loved it!!

This book wraps up the story of Elizabeth and Teagan perfectly but I still hope for another story with these characters.

Very boring.... slow journey to a predictable end.

I was so hoping this would be as good as the first book. I just wanted to know what was going to happen to Bess. I stuck with it. A lot of moments that drag on and on and on. ... oh well.

Waste of a credit

How disappointing. Another reviewer mentioned how many times she’d rolled her eyes during this story... I too lost count. Narration was horrible (par for this narrator though) and the story a huge let down after The Witch’s Daughter. Don’t waste your credit...
