A real gem

I had this as a cassette for many years and always loved listening to it. Cecil Hardwicke really brings the poetry to life. Unlike some modern actors reading poetry, he doesn't intrude his personality into the reading , but nevertheless bring out the emotion and the thinking in the verse. His reading of Tintern Abbey is alone worth the price of the audiobook. If you like Wordsworth's poetry, then I urge you give this a try - it's not too expensive either.

I've docked one star for the quality of the sound - a tad variable, but you soon get used to it.
