Summary

An odd, turn-of-the-century tale of disconnection follows a quiet little man who wanders about the day in the shadows of an overbearing wife. Willing to do anything to find the love they once shared, he trails her patiently, almost invisibly, to an unexpected ending. "The Peace of Pi" is written with a curious blend of rhythm and rhyme, as a long-form poetic short story.

Different

This book was provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

This short story was completely different from what I expected. It was well written and you did not realize the ending until the end. Always a good thing.

The narration was good. The narrator provided a good English accent and did well to emphasize high points and emotion.

Overall an enjoyable listen.

Honey in my ears!

Wendy Wolfson’s narration of the “Peace of Pi” is like honey in my ears. She has a silky and soothing tone to her voice that makes listening to this audiobook an absolute delight. The rhythm of the writing and narration together are a match made in heaven. I will definitely be listening to more by this narrator.
