“Emotional self-care through the lens of resilience means letting yourself cry without having to explain it” — wow, no truer words have been spoken and Calissa Ngozi does a fantastic job of helping listeners understand that when we allow ourselves to feel our emotions and express themselves as they need to without judgement (obviously in safe environments), reparation is a natural byproduct. “The four domains of self care” chapter was of particular note to me but this title is packed with self-help goodness that clears emotional baggage and begins the process toward betterment.
