Summary

Schooldays at St Clare's are never dull for twins Pat and Isabel O'Sullivan in Enid Blyton's much-loved boarding school series.

In audiobook two, it's the start of the Easter term, and the twins are looking forward to meeting all their friends at St Clare's once more. They are determined to be obedient and studious, but the new girls prove to be so much fun. Poor Mam'zelle had better watch out. Expect mischief at St Clare's!

Wonderful

This i find is a wonderful book for children and sets a really positive and growth mindset and atmosphere. Nicky diss narrates very well and her expression and different accents for the twins amuses me very much.
I highly recommend this book and i think it is suitable for all children of young ages (6-15)

BRILLIANT BOOK ALERT🤩📕🚨

Brilliant adventure. Perfect for a nice read on a Saturday afternoon.
I loved the bits where they realise they have unjustly accused Margery of playing mean tricks on Pat.
I reckon end this to anyone who loves adventure and anyone who likes reading about evacuees.
I give this 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty good

I loved the story but Nicky Diss isn’t that good and she makes it sounds quite peculiar. When you are younger this books brill but not when you’re slightly older.

Not so entertaining

My daughter found the narration of this quite dull. Would have preferred a cast performance to make it more exciting. She has already read the book and this is just someone reading it out loud.

Quite a different take on life

80 years ago, writers seemed to think it was OK to write kids stories in which the principal kid characters had to learn principles of ethical and moral behavior. Now we know that the school principal (as well as parents, staff and society) are the ones who are the principal cause of trouble, and so they need to have their foibles revealed and prosecuted.
