About this listen

When the mysterious Nowhere Emporium arrives in Glasgow, orphan Daniel Holmes stumbles upon it quite by accident. Before long the 'shop from nowhere' and its owner, Mr Silver, draw Daniel into a breath-taking world of magic and enchantment.

Recruited as Mr Silver's apprentice, Daniel learns the secrets of the emporium's vast labyrinth of passageways and rooms - containing wonders beyond anything Daniel has ever imagined.

An excellent fantasy tale that had such a brilliant ending. A definite for any children 8+ (or adults with that age of imagination)

I’m in my late 40s and this was just fantastic to listen to whilst getting diy and gardening done. It’s a cracking story with great characters and reminded me so much of the best stories I read as a child. I’ve had to order the next 2 books in the series in paperback as they don’t come as audio, so looking forward to them. I’ll definitely be trying some of this authors other titles.

Superb fantasy story, just as enjoyable for adults

Loved it, but the last fight did not make sense to me and left me frustrated
The end seemed rushed in comparison

A follow up would be good
