Please read this brilliant book instead. I had to stop the audiobook a few chapters in as the narration is so bad. Alana Kerr Collins should stick to Penguin documentaries and leave the crime novels alone

I enjoyed this book, but the female narrator's speech pattern was distracting and grating. Definitely worth it but if you have the time and the piece + quiet to read it, then I would recommend to read this one.

I really enjoyed this book, however I do agree with one of the previous reviewers as to why the female narrative was done in a sing song voice it didn’t help. However despite that I would recommend it as it’s a really interesting concept for a storyline and well written. It draws you in from the start.
