About this listen

The legend of Lemuria the mysterious island and all its wonders and dangers are all too real, and it has been found.

But the ancient stories of the great treasure and horrors that existed through the ice rift and beyond Odin’s Gate could never have prepared them what they discovered – monstrous creatures that lived in the sea, in the air and on land. And now Troy Strom and Anne Walsh are trapped there among them.

But they have a plan, and if they can retrieve the Heart of Odin, a massive ruby, they can use it to escape. Until then, they must learn to live on a primordial island among horrifying life forms that defy the normal rules of evolution. To survive, they need to travel into the dragon’s lair and find the truth about the ancient drekka of myth and what it guards, and also discover the fate of the first Viking clan that set foot there and what they had become.

Read book 1 before you read this one, otherwise the storyline might not make sense.
No one does vile monsters, like Beck. They are revolting, with fangs, acid vomit, and even tentacles. Really looking forward to the next one in the series.

Another great book by Greg Beck!

Yet another great book by Beck. And the usual great story telling by Mangon.
Hope there’s a third in this series.

Great as usual.

I very much enjoyed Lemuria and was excited to see what would happen in this second book. Obviously I was not disappointed, this is Greig Beck after all. The world he has created here under Greenland, is all encompassing and absolutely riveting, I listened to this pretty much non stop with a few hours for sleep in the early hours of this morning.

We all expected Tigo and Elle to return for Odin's Heart, what we did not expect was for another group to join in the fun, that made for an interesting extra, especially the ending, WOW, that ending! It gives me hope of a book 3.

Outstanding

Mangan's deadpan delivery is ideal for presenting this highly entertaining horror fest. Science fiction? Check. Dinosaurs? Check. Hack and slash? Check. Love interest? Who could ask for more?

Beck and Mangan - a great combo

The writing itself is a good continuation of the story all be it with a couple of somewhat predictable moments. Keeps you listening and interested. Hugely let down by the narrator and the poor 'cut in' edits throughout the title. You can clearly hear where portions have been added in and the audio quality is significantly reduced.

Solid continuation let down by editing
