About this listen

The slap you in your face, stop you in your tracks, colour run from your face moment that changed everything.

Six speakers from across the globe unravel the moment that redefined how they perceive themselves and how they view the world, put together with arresting sound design. These aren't stories of individuals making decisions that inadvertently changed the course of their lives. These are completely unexpected, shake-you-awake moments of radical realisation. One that they didn't see coming, and told exclusively in their own words.

A Whistledown production for Audible Originals.

Due to my usual genre of audiobooks and TV documentaries I misunderstood the synopsis of this Audible Original to mean true crime!
Inspite of that I really enjoyed how refreshingly different it was.
I have only give 3 stars for performance simply because some (not all) of the sounds irritated me a little as I felt they took emphasis and clarity away from what the narrator was saying.
I found all 6 stories very interesting and rather inspiring and I am grateful for them telling these stories and sharing such memorable parts of their lives.
Thank you.

A refreshing change from my usual listens

quite entertaining anywsy. I'm not sure what is so distressing about them, there were no really gruesome things although Severine was a sad story. Tad overproduced.

Bit random, not sure they are true stories, but

Enjoyed listening to each one. I could listen to these moments of people's lives all day - in fact I listened to all episodes in just one day whilst I was cleaning. I look forward to a 2nd season.

Beautiful and inspiring life stories of ordinary people. Really enjoyed it.
My only critique is that I missed a better wrapping up of the stories.

Inspiring
