About this listen

They disappeared.... That was just the beginning.

When five strangers are abandoned on an island without any idea where they are or whom to trust, their nightmarish new reality begins to unfold.

Someone is lying. Someone is hiding a terrible secret. They'd all do anything to get home.... Wouldn't they?

As the group struggles to uncover the truth about their mysterious whereabouts, only one thing is certain: Every choice they make on the island will affect the others.

And when they uncover a strange note with a chilling revelation, the group begins to question everything they thought they knew. If they want to make it off the island alive, they'll have to discover who brought them there and why...before it's too late.

Contains mature themes.

I have listened to 456 books and this is the second one to make me cry, I really enjoyed this book, it kept me guessing, and even when I thought I knew what was going on, I was wrong. Brilliant.

Wow

An interesting story line but it was very slow with little action and mostly about feelings, I listened to the end because I wanted to know why these people were stranded on an island. There were some factual issues like pineapples growing on trees (it’s a Bromeliad) and there was no explanation about how they could light fires so easily but I liked the ending and the narrator was very good.

It was OK

I loved this! It kept you gripped from start to finish!
Great writing - highly recommend!

Amazing

Characters were badly written, their relationships didn’t make any sense given how they presented as people, and I found the writing to be really lazy.

Not for me at all. If you’re in to this genre of books, I’d definitely recommend The Six, by Anni Taylor. It’s a much better story, characters are well developed and the story progresses in a better pace than this one.

Save yourself a credit here, I wish I had!
