Summary

There are countless books written for salespeople about various sales techniques: prospecting, generating leads, building rapport, handling objections, closing the sale, collecting referrals, and providing excellent customer service. The list goes on and on. This is not one of those books.

Most salespeople use these techniques daily, yet the majority still fail to achieve the results they want. So, what is the difference between average performers and the top 1 percent in your company or industry? Which strategies, mind-sets, rituals, practices, and systems do the top 1 percent maintain daily that got them to the top and continue to keep them there?

The more you study the world's top salespeople in any industry, the more you realize that their success is a result of who they are more than merely what they do. Thus, logic would have it that if you want to take your sales to the next level, you must first figure out how to take yourself to the next level (because it happens only in that order). That's exactly what this book will help you do, faster than you ever realized is possible.

No usp

It was always going to be very similar to the original miracle morning but it's really just the same book with an average sales book added on the end.

Not what I expected.

Any additional comments?

The book is 80% about selling (very basic stuff - try your best, prospecting,...) 10% testimonials from people who used the Morning Miracle (his previous book), and 10% on creating a morning routine. I was hoping it would be 90% about creating a morning routine and 10% on selling. If you were to look at this book as just a sales book (which it basically is) I would say it is a good introduction to sales. If you have been selling for more than 6 months, you'll find it very basic and not worth it, as I did.
The morning routine info, the little of it there was, was excellent.

Annoying

This was so annoying I had to return it!! The first several chapters just spoke about what this book was going to do and too many Hal references...I wanted substance not continual reassurance of what this book was going to do 😖

Very decent information

TMM 4 Salespeople does a great job of encapsulating early morning routines, personal development for sales pros and resources to keep you on track. Very worth reading and adding to your library.

Goes well paired with "think and grow rich"

Great book, I'm also reading "think and grow rich" and I think they pair nicely. I read the original miracle morning and feel as I should have only bought this book. It covers the same basic principles that are in the original but more infomation in regards correlating waking up early to sales.

Highly engaging, helpful and inspiring!

Would you listen to The Miracle Morning for Salespeople again? Why?

Yes, I already am listing to it again!

What did you like best about this story?

I like the fact that it is not 'salesy'! This might sound like a contradiction but it isn't. I love that the focus is how to improve yourself so that you bring more to the table for your customers.

Which scene was your favorite?

The part of the book that hit me the hardest was about technology and the fact that it should be helping you, not running your day. I was spending a lot of time responding - this helped me to take charge opening up time to focus on activities that were much more helpful to becoming better at my job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

I am a fan of The Miracle Morning and wasn't sure if I 'needed' this book in addition to that one. I'm so glad I went for it. So many AHA moments for me and little things that I know but had forgotten in the daily grind were great reminders. Also, I like the tone of the book and felt coached and not hard sold on this process or that. Incorporating just a few of these ideas in conjunction with The Miracle Morning - will set me on a new trajectory! I am already reading it again and can't WAIT for the workbook!!
