About this listen

Eadie T. Pratt sets out on a road trip in search of a new life and ends up in the middle of somewhere she never expected. What did you like best about The Middle of Somewhere? What did you like least?

I liked the way the family connections were woven together. I didn't like the way Cadence seemed parachuted into the story to let the main character contemplate her next move.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Middle of Somewhere?

Eating of the peaches and figuring out that heifer and pigging were nicknames.

I REALLY thought I might not like this story when I started it … but something in the sample clip made me go ahead and do so. It really was very, very beautiful, and I’m so sad it’s over. I hope there might be mores with these characters.
