The Lightkeeper’s Love Affair is a short but sweet story about two men who are brought together by a storm and a hotel room. Ben is a newly graduated college student who’s about to start the next phase in his life. He finds himself in a difficult situation when vacation plans fall apart. But what starts off as bad luck turns into something so wonderful. I really enjoyed watching Isaac and Ben fall in love.

The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean who did a fantastic job. Michael is a talented narrator who voices each character perfectly. The audiobook production was well done.

This story is a super cute short listen. I love how Michael Dean brought both Ben's and Issac's characters to life. I definitely highly recommend this listen!

Gabbi Grey has written a wonderful short story. I like her writing style and despite the brevity she has put into this entertaining insta-love story everything that is needed: likeable characters, the right chemistry between Ben and Isaac and a happy ending.

Michael Dean brought the characters to life with his performance and did a really good job. He was a pleasure to listen to.

Ok, so one hour is a preposterous format for a love story. And listening to this short but sweet book, I did feel the rush sometimes. But I was impressed by some of the inventive choices Gabbi Grey made in order to make it work. She snuck in back story details without belabouring them, and she cut down ruthlessly on unnecessary narration of how the characters physically get from A to B, which I love. So if you've only got an hour, or you want the satisfying feeling of a happy ending without waiting hours for the MC's to figure things out, this is the book for you.

Gabbi Grey is a great author when it comes to short stories and moving the characters along at pace but also managing to include the attraction, feelings and small plot to what's going on.
Ben and Isaac are in forced proximity with the last room at the hotel being available during a storm. It heated within moments as Ben takes the initiative to bring them together after Isaac is kind enough to share his room with Ben. They make a wonderful couple and it's an enjoyable, quick romance with a satisfying HEA.
Michael Dean brings the characters to life in this short listen, showcasing their personalities and emotions. Always an easy listen when he's narrating.
