I'm not the kind of guy who lusts after strangers, but the man pulling up next to me on his bike is muscular and hot as hell. I let myself look, and he gives me a scorching grin in return. They are quick & very spicy, and always get me on the hook for when the characters will inevitably meet again in their full length book! The chemistry & sparks between Finn & Ulysses were flying so I can’t wait to listen to their book next.

Finn, who we have met in other previous books in the series, first meets Ulysses when Ulysses is nearly struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. The chance encounter between the two men leads to Finn inviting Ulysses home with him for an anonymous night in the sheets.

This short-story is a great listen leaving the listener wanting more. The two characters are interesting and teases a new seventh book in the series, which will hopefully give both these men their HEA😍

Audiobook - excellent narration.
Story - a short introduction to the MCs for the longer full story to follow. Finn and Ulysses are potentially on the opposite sides of a conflict which Ulysses is determined to uncover.

Short stories in which the protagonists have a brief encounter have become something of a tradition in the “Love in Mission City” series.
Here we meet the hot firefighter Finn, who takes Ulysses home after an accident. The chemistry between them is palpable, and they spend a steamy night together. But then Ulysses disappears. The ending leaves you absolutely eager for the next volume.
Michael Dean has turned the story into a fantastic listening experience, and after just 36 minutes, I immediately wanted to know if the two would meet again.
Michael chose the right voices, the pacing was great, and his voice—well, he brought the story to life.
I received this audiobook for free from GRR and wrote this review voluntarily. It reflects my honest opinion.

Loved this short and steamy introduction to Firefighter Finn and mysterious Ulysses. Finn helps him after a near miss motorcycle collision, and their chemistry hits off straight away as they head back to Finn's place. Instant flirting, a sultry one night stand, and Finn left pining in the morning.
The audiobook was easy to listen too and the voices for the characters fit so well.
Excited to see the full length follow up for their story.
