About this listen

A twisted killer targeting psychologists has left a grisly trail across Europe. Dr Tony Hill, expert at mapping the minds of murderers, is reluctant to get involved. But then the next victim is much closer to home.... Meanwhile, his former partner DCI Carol Jordan is working undercover in Berlin, on a dangerous operation to trap a millionaire trafficker. When the game turns nasty, Tony is the only person she can call on for help.

overall i enjoyed this book and i have been a fan of the author for some time. There were parts of the plot that i found a bit implausible but overall i enjoyed the book.

good listen

The usual good characterisation and plot, but the way in which the undercover character was outed was disappointing. The mistake made was not one that someone of her calibre would have made and was obviously going to lead to her discovery. Hence not plausible and spoiled the ending for me.

Disappointing towards the end

Great story. Could not stop listening. Already listened to it twice! But it felt like the end left us wanting more.

Gripping storyline. Great storyteller.

A gripping book with interwoven stories. Well read with an added romantic interest as Carol and Tony get closer

Carol and Tony delight

this started well and built suspense and potential; it failed to maintain this and fell away to become increasingly weak and unbelievable.
