Story
On a sweltering summer’s night, teenage siblings Jack and Lily witness a helicopter crash on the main road between Brighton and London. The next morning they wake to find their village has been sealed off from the entire world. A terrorist cell is holed up in Stenhurst - or at least that’s the official story, put out by sinister government agent Wynter and his vicious sidekick, Major Kellett. But later that day, Lily and Jack stumble on the truth: the authorities are hunting for a mysterious creature, labelled CatX, who escaped during the crash.

Summary
From the New York Times best-seller Dima Zales comes an action-packed sci-fi adventure set in a post-singularity future. Get all three full-length novels in one convenient bundle.
When invisible technology runs everything and memories can't be trusted, how does one sort the truth from the lies?
Oasis, the last habitable area on post-apocalyptic Earth, is meant to be a paradise, a place where everyone is content. Vulgarity, violence, insanity, and other ills are but a distant memory, and even death no longer plagues the last surviving humans.
Theo, a 23-year-old Youth, has never fit in with the serene, age-divided Oasis society. But it's only when he starts hearing a girl's voice in his head that he realizes that nothing is what it seems. Phoe is his imaginary friend - or is she?
As secrets are unveiled, Theo is dragged into a dangerous game where the virtual and the real worlds collide.
What does it mean to be human? What does it mean to be real?
Theo is about to find out.
Warning: This book contains some strong language. We felt it was important for the censorship theme of the novel. If such words offend you, you might not enjoy this book.
Note: This is a complete trilogy containing three full-length novels - Oasis, Limbo, and Haven.

good story
I like the story but the narration has somehow unnatural pauses between the words. I have tried to adjust the speed, it sounds a bit better to me at 1.20, but still not good enough. The narration has somewhat improved in book 3.

Target audience, gamers who love scifi
I like Dima Zales (and Anna Zaires) work in general. This is the second series I've read. The voice of the characters can be somewhat immature, but that is partly the intention, though "youthful" and immature are very different voices and sometimes it is the latter. The series turns from a mystery to more of a gamer's VR adventure.
This is worth reading. I almost didn't read it because of the cover art with the "Pixie" and the poor descriptions. This series is better than both.

Mind = blown
I thought the story arc was going to go a completely different direction. Very tight storyline replete with Deus Ex Machina. Note:. This are some very deep underpinnings with the series. This should rank up with Asimiov and Niven and probably we will.

Didn’t realize this was a YA
So, I didn’t initially realize this was a YA. I still don’t see anything that says it is, but it has to be. Overall, characters are decently done, but seemed more like 15 year olds. Story seemed somewhat underdeveloped. Good ending, albeit somewhat predictable. Good epic trilogy for a teenager who is into sci-fi, or even just getting into it.

Shoddy audio editing!
Story content: Book one was decent. Book two was okay. Book three was a disaster.
Audio quality: Choppy and character voices were annoying, especially a male that sounded like a surfer or a throwback from Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Very Scientific 💜
While this Trilogy has some moments of brilliance, for me it was way too technical & at times downright confusing. I imagine this would be an epic movie as I do enjoy Sci-fi in general but for me I think I needed pictures lol.
I did enjoy the characters. They were imaginative, literally and fun. This book was definitely action packed with many unexpected turn of events.
The narration was absolutely perfect. Roberto Scarlato is a brilliant narrator and he really brings every character to life.
If you love Science Fiction I recommend you give it a try.

I'm struggling with this childish story. It's more like a young adult story. The narrator is very good tho'.
