Exciting Dramatization, Duplicate tracks

Wonderful dramatization, with extiting corriagraphy.
Does not have all the stories of the original Jungle book. The last two tracks are duplicates, which, accounts for longer length.

Not unabridged as claimed!

I'm frustrated that I have to buy a second book and my daughter was not prepared for her class discussion, because this was not what it claimed to be. Waste of time and money!

Excellent Narration and Sound Effects

What made the experience of listening to The Jungle Book the most enjoyable?

This is by far the best version of the Jungle Book we've ever heard. It's read in a dramatic fashion with music and the occasional sound effect. I just wish they had done all the mowgli stories-especially Ka's Running which is omitted. There is also one story in it that is repeated for some reason.

Not the full Jungle Book

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably not

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Jungle Book?

Mowgli defeating Sher Kahn

Did Great American Audio Studio Talent do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, the differing voices and inflections helped to follow who was who

Do you think The Jungle Book needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes - I was quite upset at the number of stories that were missing from this audiobook - I mean where were the apes? Where was Riki tiki tavi? And where was the White seal?

Any additional comments?

This felt like a bit of a cop out in that every volume of the Jungle book that I have read has contained many stories that were not on this audio book.

NOT UNABRIDGED!!!

What would have made The Jungle Book better?

If it were actually unabridged. There were several chapters just left completely out.

Any additional comments?

I would have loved to love Audible.com. But when my very first purchase was a dishonest product, I have a hard time wanting to come back.
